Feminine Yoga Teacher Training

A continuing education opportunity.

Improve your teaching skills by learning what and how to teach yoga to women during important rites of passage they might experience.

This training was born from my passion for the Feminine and the care of women, on and off the mat. I feel the importance of informing yoga teachers about female rites of passage, the physiology of women and their cyclicality in order to have the tools to serve the students depending on the moment of life they are going through. In this way we truly respect those who rely on us, truly seeing their needs. Really seeing the person.

During six weeks (plus one for integration) we will immerse ourselves in the different types of yoga designed to accompany women on a journey into the practice of female yoga.

The course is online, live and on demand. The students will have videos, audio and handouts to study between meetings. At the end of the course they will teach a yoga class of a specialty of their choice and will receive a certificate with which they will be able to receive 20 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits.

*For YA, each certified teacher must accumulate 30 continuing education credits every 3 years. For all the yoga teachers with a certificate of at least 200 hours of training.

Yoga and the Somatics of the Feminine

After nearly a decade of teaching yoga in Europe and the Americas, I was called to dig deep into what it means to be a woman, both on the yoga mat and in everyday life. This vocation led me to study ancient traditions that honor nature and follow its cyclical rhythms, respecting women and the divine feminine when practiced. In my work I aim to inform and guide women on their journey of self-discovery at their own pace, through various modalities. My teaching style follows a feminine model of circular, rounded, earth-connected movements to best reflect the needs that most align with the body, mind and emotions. The consultations and treatments I offer aim to create space for the body to speak and be heard. In this way he will have the opportunity to return to an optimal balance, regenerating and healing himself, as he is able to do according to his design. By knowing, living, and embracing their true nature, women can thrive by encountering their authentic, holistic higher self.

When women get together an atmosphere of fun, strength and freedom is created. By opening new horizons on yoga practice and on how to embody the Feminine, we can come deeply into contact with who we are by living in harmony with ourselves and others.

TESTIMONIALS

  • The course opened my eyes to the need to fully experience my femininity in all aspects of my life and practice. Irene's teaching is exhaustive and complete; Irene has a real passion for the topic and cares about the dissemination of the course contents. This path is not only a precious tool for teachers who want to work more specifically with their students, opening up to new perspectives, but also an extraordinary journey into the forgotten world of the feminine and cyclicality. Thank you with all my heart.

  • I took the Feminine Yoga course for teachers. A splendid feminine approach to yoga, in harmony with our body and our cyclical life. A well-structured course, six macro themes divided into six weeks which went beyond simple asanas and which allowed me to embrace important aspects of my being a woman. The adaptations to be made during practice on the mat depending on the phase of life and/or menstrual cycle in which the practitioner finds herself are very useful. Thank you Irene for this newfound awareness.

  • I approached the Female Yoga training course with curiosity and I come away enriched, as a practitioner, teacher and woman. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this journey, which, in addition to offering useful tools for a harmonious and conscious approach to practice, has highlighted many ideas to reflect on. Irene is very knowledgeable and shares her knowledge generously.
